Database with description of each field (Specifically wp_postmeta)

Hi There,

So I am trying to find a documentation that explains the relationship of the ‘meta_value’ column in the ‘wp_postmeta’ table to the rest of the site. Basically I am struggling very badly with the importer and so instead I’m going to attempt to run several queries in order to set new increment values on my wordpress rows and their relative fields and it has worked fine, however, I am struggling with the images and I think I might be doing something wrong with the meta_value table (I am talking about thumbnails specifically)

I hope I posted this correctly, there is no further information I can provide as the site is on localhost and it’s more of a database question I suppose.
