    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, that should be possible. Please try adding this as the “Custom Command” on the “Edit” screen of that table:

    "dom":"lfrtipB"

    (The B is the position of the Buttons, according to the documentation at https://datatables.net/reference/option/dom
