DataTables Row Details Extension – Check if Empty

    I have installed Tablepress Plugin and I want to say that it is awesome.

    I have also installed the DataTables Row Details Extension and it works fine.

    But I would like to know there is some type of js code or something to check if cell is empty or not.

    In other words I don’t need the green + icon on every single row. I only need it where there is detailed text in a specific column a cell.

    Currently the extension adds an expandable icon to every single row.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean. Unfortunately, I don’t have a quick way for achieving this. One would have to modify the JS code behind the Row Details, so that it checks for empty cells first. Unfortunately, I don’t have this code readily available at this time, sorry.
