Date _format_ not working

    Hi to all,

    i looked at the link https://contactform7.com/date-field/ and i can’t get _format_ to work.
    I have a field called [date* DATACOMPILAZIONE “today”] and I formatted the tags in the email [_format_DATACOMPILAZIONE “d m Y”] and also [_format_DATACOMPILAZIONE “d m”] anno [_format_DATACOMPILAZIONE “Y”] but they don’t work, the result is always the same in the format Y-m-d.

    Where am I doing wrong?
