    Hello,
I have an anomaly that I cannot solve, in the checkout the contacts who check out even without giving consent end up in the mailchimp with a contact date added relative to 1970.

How can I prevent contacts who do not express any consent from being entered on mail chimp (This person is only eligible for transactional emails.) and how can I solve the date problem?

ps. Also, for users who purchase as a guest, is it possible to save in the address book? if so how can i activate it?

Thanks for the support in advance.

@gabrielenet93 the 1969 date bug has been in play for quite some time, and that has just recently been resolved. Due to the nature of the bug, any subscriber added to your audience prior to the fix will likely have an invalid opt in timestamp.

The only way to resolve this would be to start a new list, and re-sync your data. That should resolve the date issue for all the others that were in that situation.

Sorry there’s not a better answer, but the bug has been fixed and should not be a problem moving forward.

As for the question about “transactional” customers, that is not currently supported for filtering out because they’re still “customers” and the data there can be used for automations like order updates. We have considered a developer hook to “skip” submissions but at the moment that’s not available.

The “address book” comment – I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Maybe expand a bit there? Are we talking about the data inside WooCommerce? Or Mailchimp? If it’s Mailchimp – that address should be attached properly to the customer, transactional or not.

If you’re not seeing that either you would be best contacting Mailchimp directly while logged into your account so that they can look into your specific data issue. It could actually be an address formatting/parsing issue that’s also been coming up lately for certain countries.
