Date and dash forced in my meta description, why?!

Same for me.
I read https://yoast.com/help/date-appears-search-results/.
But I don’t want this date in metadescription anyway.

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. We decided to remove these Date and Separator variables from the meta description field in Yoast SEO plugin version 22.8 as it confused some of our users. So you can update to v22.8
