date archive link not working

I have installed wordpress in the following website https://www.colordarcy.com/wordpress/category/blog/

All was working fine until I installed the permalinks

Which has meant my category specific Archives are not working.
So what was
https://www.colordarcy.com/wordpress/?m=200808&cat=16

comes out like
https://www.colordarcy.com/wordpress/date/2008/08/?cat=16

and doesn’t work.

Does anyone know the permalink friendly way to show an month archive of a category?
