    It would be good to have the option to enter dates with options for either:

    1. year only eg 1890
    2. year and month only eg 1890-07,
    3. year and month and day eg 1890-07-11

    Many historical documents do not have exact dates, but have a year or sometimes a month as well as a year. Timeline at the moment requires an exact date with year, month and day to be a valid entry.

  • I agree with mlnickson, this is the exact plugin I need for my site. Just need to be able to put just a date by itself, like 1904.

    I hope this is able to be done easily and soon in an update, it is a great plugin, thanks heaps for it.
