Date field issue

I am using CF7 to create a form which has a date field inside it. The problem I have is that the date formatting is YYYY/MM/DD. I know this is a HTML 5 directive and that the browser controls it, but on other websites the date fields are DD/MM/YYYY.

I need to get it displaying in the correct format in the form field so we can pass it to Sales Force which requires the DD/MM/YYYY format.

Can anyone suggest anything that works as DD/MM/YYYY format for the UK is incorrect.
