Date field not localized; Need time picker restrictions

  • I’m in the US and the date picker isn’t respecting the localization settings in WP so it is always showing the date selected as 2014/15/12 instead of 12/15/2014. This is REALLY confusing to people in the US. Should be a simple fix.

    Also, it would be nice to be able to restrict what times can be picked by the time picker – most businesses have specific opening hours or delivery hours so allowing the user to pick any 24-hour time isn’t very useful. In our business we allow pickups between 11am and 11pm but the picker allows users to pick any time.

    Please try to use the configuration options for date and time. You can access the field configuration using the button in the type column. Please tell us if this helps.

    Sorry didn’t notice that it was configurable there.

    I’m also trying to use the “Exclude dates” feature and I’ve tried various formats and nothing seems to work. What date format is it expecting?

    OK, it needs to be MM/DD/YYYY. A little picky but I can deal with it.
