date field not showing

I don’t know what could cause this unless it’s getting hidden for some reason by a CSS rule. I might be able to see what the issue is if I could see it in action.

Hello, I imported a CSV. All fields I designated as date fields did not import. I’m looking for documentation on date formatting.

For now – I’ve changed the Form Element to text-line. Though I’m sure it would be of benefit to have the dates formatted as such at some point.

The date field is really only a text input field, like the text field, so there is no difference in terms of the display and CSS for that field. The big difference is in how the data is stored and it’s value displayed. Dates are stored as numbers, so that makes it possible to filter and sort by date.

I do recommend you used a date field for all of your date inputs. If you start receiveing signups with your dates in a text field, you won’t be easily able to change it to a date field later because all the data will be in the wrong format.
