Date fields empty

    We are looking for a plugin with many of the features offered by Simple File List. If we decide to use this plugin, we will purchase the Pro version. Prior to purchasing Pro, we installed the free version on our test site. As you can see at https://carolinatech.us/1/simple-file-list-test/, the “Date” fields are blank. I have reset the options in setup and still get the same results. I read the available information on the Pro version and do not see any mention of the “Date” functionality, in case it only comes in the Pro version.

    How can I get the file creation or post date to work?

    Hello Beau,

    That’s a new one. I have not seen this issue before. I’m wondering if it has to do with your date setting on the WordPress Settings > General tab. Try changing that to see if the dates will appear.

    First, thank you so much for your response.

    Bingo! We have a winner! You are absolutely right. I guess that is why you make the big bucks, as they say. I had the default date format on “Custom”. Once I changed the WordPress default date format to a standard format (m/d/Y), Simple File List started showing the dates.

    I will be purchasing the Pro version soon. I am college teacher in computer technology. I will return to this project during Winter Break.

    Thanks again for creating a great plugin. I hope you have tremendous success with it.
