Date Format Fix

  • Hi,

    Takayuki Miyoshi, the author of this plugin doesn’t seems to be really concerned by date formats problems… So many unsolved questions about it on forums.

    The problem is that CF7 force datepicker format to yy-mm-dd.

    I modestly ask him if he could delete this line 117 in /includes/js/scripts.js, to let every datepicker with user default format… so we won’t have to fix it on every update.

    To delete: dateFormat: 'yy-mm-dd',

    You put this answer whenever you talk about the date formats. It’s insufficient as a response …
    Why do you put dateformat: ‘yy-mm-dd’ in scripts.js ?
    With add_filter( 'wpcf7_support_html5_fallback', '__return_true' );, the datepicker is active on Firefox, but input date field is filled with yy-mm-dd format.
    If you delete line 117 in scripts.js, it will be filled with user default format (dd-mm-yy in my case).
    Or tell us how to change the datepicker format… from yy-mm-dd to dd-mm-yy.
    Hope your answer will be more developed.
