Date format not working

    Hi there,

    i’ve been using your plugin for a while, just setting up a new site and the date formatting doesn’t seem to be working. Date is displayed by default (even when not telling it to) format is always displaying as (8/25/2016) regardless of what I change the shortcode to.

    Code I am using is:

    [display-posts category=”media-release” excerpt_length=”80″ include_excerpt=”true” excerpt_more=”READ MORE” excerpt_more_link=”true” image_size=”medium” include_date=”true” posts_per_page=”99″]

    Your shortcode does not contain the date_format parameter, so it is using the default parameter.

    With the example below, dates will be formatted like “April 11, 2017”

    [display-posts include_date="true" date_format="F j, Y"]
