Date format not working in the phone

  • Hello world,

    I am using the Contact Form 7 date picker for a contact form in my website (I have attached the link for the same). The issue I am facing here is the date option is visible on the desktop and tablet views but, for phone the place holder is not working. Once I click the field (which is empty till now), the date picker pops up and is visible and the placeholder is visible after that.

    Can you please help me with how can I solve the issue? Pleas open the link in the phone and try it.
