Date Format Question

  • Hello,
    Can anyone please tell me how should i make my date as current date in this format. I know how to make it current date my question actually is how should i display my date in this format
    1)
    14
    Mar

    2) I want my date to appear on all static pages in this format Mar 14th, 2009 (This is another question)I know how to display date but i don’t know how to display on all pages (I can do coding on all pages)but would prefer if it can be done on only one page. Please advise.
