Date format, require dd-mm-yy

  • Hi, please help!

    I am trying to get this format to work dd-mm-yy
    I have updated the file cf7-datepicker-ie-fixer.js to reflect this via dateFormat: 'dd-mm-yy',

    I can select the dates no problem but I get an activation error when I try to process the form. I’m getting “contact form 7 Date format seems invalid.” combined with “Validation errors occurred. Please confirm the fields and submit it again”

    Can anyone please advise how to fix this?

    Also on the email that is sent when the form is filled in, I would like the date to be shown as dd-mm-yy
    I have used this [date* event_date date-format:dd-mm-yy]

    Is that correct?

  • I’ve got the same problem. It does disable the html5 and enables the javascript one but it doesn’t support the format that we want.

    wich Version of Contact Form 7 are u using?

    I try it with date-format but i can’t change the date format in my form…

    I am also running the newest CF 7 plugin version 4.2.2 and the newest wordpress version. I have the same problem with the datepicker format and also a date-range problem. If people on my site need to enter the expiry date of their ID-card it is not possible to select a future date from the calendar pop-up. However, if I than manually change the date (without the pop-up calendar) it is okay to have a future date and doesn’t resolve into an error or something. I hope to be able to add the proper date-format. Great plugin further on!!
