Date formats

    My site language is English UK and I have bespoke date formats set in Settings / General.

    However, the Start and End date fields in EHUB are shown in US format MM/DD/YYYY rather than UK format DD/MM/YYYY both on the Summary page and on the Edit page.

    I realise that you cannot support bespoke formats, but any chance for a fix so that it follows some sort of locale-based format?

    P.S. It is a minor annoyance for me, but I am trying to delegate entering EHUB posts to someone else, and so this needs to be as user friendly as possible.

    I created Easy Heads Up Bar for a project years ago and popped up here to give back to the WP community.

    As a South African I understand why you would want a locale-based format for the dates, but I have limited time to maintain my public plugins. I feel that the date picker’s pop up clarifies the day month question. While it seems like small fix I see it as a slippery slope.
