    Hi there, I downloaded Visualizer to see how it works. So far unable to plot anything.
    Try a simple two column CSV.
    COLUMN A is a list of dates in the following format: dd-mm-yy
    COLUMN B is a list of values, where the decimal is represented by a comma (123,45)

    Import = Invalid data types

    Ok, so changed date format to dd/mm/yy and changed the , decimals to . (123.45)

    Import = Invalid data types

    Looked at the Column.csv file for clues on how to format data but the sample file data has no dates, no decimals. Florence,371282,607906,655875

    Is there a workaround for this?

    Please share the CSV that you are using. Have you verified that the format of the file is similar to the format of the sample CSVs (first row contains headings and second row data type)?

    Hi there, thanks for the reply.
    How about these formats?

    UPDATE:
    Tried another method using Google Spreadsheet as instructed how to:

    Importing the sheet link also throws an error (“Invalid data type on the second row”)

    This is the link to the csv data

    Not sure what is wrong

    CLOSER:
    I realized too late that it was necessary to manually specify the data type in row 2.
    That explains the error.
    So a new spreadsheet later, it almost works. It seems that the DATE is being read
    mm/dd/yyyy – and not the familiar dd/mm/yyyy format.

    We always recommend reading instructions before using the plugin ??

    Have you looked at the advanced settings and tried changing the date format there?

    Thread Starter mbzo2006

    (@mbzo2006)

    Where are these advanced settings located?
    Can you explain in more detail?

    In Google Spreadsheets I can change the Locale to use the desired date format (dd/mm/yyyy)

    What else?

    FYI – here are two plots of the same data.
    1) Excel line chart
    2) Visualizer WordPress line chart

    Each point (number) should be a monthly value.

    While I can change the horizontal axis format in Visualizer, the data is still plotted incorrectly.

    How to fix this?

    Hi there @rozroz, is this not possible?
    I saved the data (above) in a new csv file and imported the file. However the line plot is still wrong;
    Days and months are inverted.
    Horizontal axis settings is d/M/yy
    Wordpress general settings also is d/m/Y.

    Hi @mbzo2006,

    I have tried using the numberFormat in the plugin to set date format and it works as expected: https://prnt.sc/vfn8rj

    The date is being converted. Could you check and verify that it doesn’t work on your end?

    Hi there Vytis, thanks for taking time to look at this issue

    Your screenshot seems to confirm that Visualizer displays the data incorrectly.

    As you can see, your plot shows three spikes, which is wrong.

    Your screenshot should look more like the plot in Excel, see below:

    Excel line chart

    Unfortunately, I could not reproduce this plot in Visualizer.

    Any assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated.

    Hi @mbzo2006,

    I have misunderstood your issue at first, apologies for that.

    May you please share the file that you are using again? I can no longer access it using: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSl6em_U1EPiQWuSAKrEXOsSnsWNpvyZ35m9yyORMn08Y5JuW0kQIVr9xjxvRnbADY3Q18bDMQUbdh7/pub?output=csv

    Hi Vytis,
    Could be a network issue.
    The data file can be downloaded as a CSV here:

    If required, here is the link to the shared Google spreadsheet:

    Hi @mbzo2006,

    Sorry for the delay but I can’t make the date reformatted with the out of the box settings of the plugin so the easiest way is to change your source file and use mm/dd/yyyy format to show the data correctly.
