date function

  • On my site i have this March 19th, 2014
    Which file i need to edit to have day.month, year?

    Default function is F jS, Y and i want to be like this d.m, Y. I already edited and fixed single.php so when i click post i can see my date but at homepage i still see March 19th, 2014

    Can someone help me and tell me which file to edit? thx
