Date issues with Event Organiser (1.5.7)

After updating polylang and/or event organiser, it looks like eo_get_the_start() and eo_get_the_end() has stopped functioning when looping through events (in archive-event.php and single-event.php), rendering Event Organiser pretty much useless.
