I can confirm this. When I set “interval” to “events” the events listed are displayed without the date titles.

I have found out that this is an option to set the focus on the event and not on the date.
You can add the shortcode [startdate] in the event-builder to display the date below the event.
    Like this:

    Event 1
    date

    Event 2
    date

I agree with the original poster – I have also encountered this problem – specifically in the Widget. When I choose the “Number of events per page” as “days” in the Widget, it provides the date title as the original poster describes. However, I don’t want to show a certain days’ worth of events – I want to show a certain number of events, regardless of how many days apart they are. However, when I choose “events” under the “Number of events per page” option, there is no longer any date given for the display title.

If it is relevant, when I make these changes, I change them both in the Widget options and in the GCal events feed settings.

Bernd’s second post does provide a way to show the date, but is not always a logical/ideal way to show a calendar – often, we need to focus on the date.

    Thanks for the help.

The last post in this thread may also be describing a similar problem: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/remove-date-from-list-grouped-entries?replies=5

As an additional and potentially related problem (and potentially a larger problem), I cannot get more than one event to show when I choose the “days” option under “number of events per page” – even when there are other events within the timeframe of days given (i.e., if there are two events within the next 7 days and I choose 7 days as the option – it will only show the first event.

If I choose “7 events” as the option, it will show both events, but as mentioned, does not show the date for each event.

    What is going on?

Thanks again for the help. I know you are all answering a lot of questions right now.

This is something that I am looking into currently. I will let you know when I have more information. Thank you all for your patience.

I also have this issue. I’m just posting this so I can get email notifications. ??

This should be fixed in version 2.0.5. Please update and confirm.

    Thank you

Yes! It is fixed for me in version 2.0.5. Additionally, the second problem of all events in the span of “n number of days” not showing up appears to be corrected as well.

Thank you very much for working on this and fixing it! It is much appreciated.

Downloaded version 2.0.5 and the grouped-list of events is now proceeded by the date.

    Thank you.
