Date not reflecting local time… but UTC?

    The settings in WordPress are set to local time UTC -4 but the Stage Show Gold app seems to be picking up the UTC time… consequently our shows are going off line 4 hours before the start time. Any ideas please?

  • I’ve nothing to do with StageShow except as a potential user but assuming that your timezone is UTC-4, have you tried resetting your timezone (WP Settings, General) to UTC and then back again? I can’t imagine that SS has it’s own time routines…….Otherwise Malcolm needs to answer this?

    Thanks Roger… yes we have tried that. And I agree it is a stretch to think that SS is anything to do with it. Most times it is WordPress somewhere but to me it is not obvious just yet.

    StageShow uses the WP function current_time which returns local time.

    Just tested the 12th April performance …. still showing 2.5 hours prior to the performance.
