    Hi Katie
Since updating to 7.1, the above listings no longer work for me; all seem to be listed in the order that I added the records. Can you please advise if I should be doing something different
    Many thanks

Is that the exact shortcode? I don’t think “DSC” will work … I think it’s “desc” … can you try that?

    Now changed to:
    [zotpress style=”harvard1″ sortby=”author” sort=”DESC” title=”yes” tags=’Bacon Hole’ target=”new”]
Have purged everything from the website cache and removed cache in both browsers and now both in spinning cog mode at the moment

Hmm … I’m see special quotation characters … which could be the culprits. I’m working on a auto-corrector for these, but can you try re-typing the quotes? You may need to go into HTML mode or use the shortcode block (if using Gutenberg).

ps just looked today at the Author and Date order listings for the Bibliography of the entire collection in FireFox; Date Order date headers have now returned. From my perspective, there seems to be an enormous timelag of several hours or more from making any changes and for them to appear.

Ah OK. Messages have crossed. I now need to go offline whilst my PC is seen to but will try in a few hours. Well spotted

    Hi Katie

All seems OK now : o) Those tags have caught me out before on other things : o(
After purging the site it does seem to take a very long time to rebuild the references back up. Maybe it has always done that because there are about 250 of them but have not noticed it before. Whilst by Date listing shows all records, by Author is still incomplete in Edge, Safari and Firefox, even after 24 hours. Is also not showing all records when I Browse by Library in Admin

I’ve applied some fixes in 7.1.2 but if it’s not working well, please re-open this thread.

Unfortunately, it no longer seems to be synching with Zotpress; a minor change I made to change the title of the paper, which was displaying as all capitals, has not come through. Browse by Library in Admin and listing all records by Author still does not show all the records; there should be 21 pages of refernces and there are only 5. Oddly, the Date listing shows everything. Any ideas what I can do next?

Have you manually synced your library on the Zotero side, and waited 10 mins in Zotpress or cleared the cache there?

I have Zotero on my PC with which which I collate my references and can manually sync this with my web-based Zotero account; this bit works. I cannot see a manual sync button on the web-based account. Can you please confirm that I have understood correctly here.

In Zotpress there is a recycle button in Accounts to clear the cache; can you please confirm that this is what I should try next.

Many thanks for helping me get through this.

Oh, yes! Sorry about the confusion. I think I’ll change the icon to look more like the Zotero sync button.
