Date placeholder not working!

  • My code is [date* donate-date placeholder “Example: 14/02/2020”] but the placeholder text is now appear, pls help.

    I’m afraid each browser handle the behavior and user interface differently, so it depends on the browser whether it displays a placeholder or not. Please see the Browser compatibility on MDN Web Docs.

    My recommendation is to use a label indicating that it’s a date field to improve the user experience in older browsers, this way:

    <label> Donate Date
    [date* donate-date] </label>

    hi @yordansoares , i have used the label.
    second, i have check the browser compatibility, i am using google chrome, and its support.
