date query after yesterday not working

Looks like something strange is happening after updating to WP 5.3. I have a custom post type being displayed with the following shortcode:

[display-posts post_type=”visual” image_size=”large” date_query_after=”yesterday” columns=”2″ include_title=”false”]

It should only be showing the 2 posts that were published today, but instead it’s also showing 2 posts from yesterday as well.

Any ideas why this might be happening? Was working fine before the 5.3 update.
