We have noticed that 2 forms on our website aren’t displaying on the front-end. We don’t know when this started happening, but we know the form(s) were successfully submitted on February 21st. We have discovered that if we turn off the setting to default display current date within the “Date/Time” field, then the form(s) once again display fine. It’s also coincidental that the Ninja Forms plugin had an update 7 days ago… Just after that last submission on our form. Might this be a bug in the update?

    Hi there,

I was unable to replicate the issue in my sandbox settings. When I set the default value of my Date/Field to the current date, it works fine.

Have you tried disabling all your existing plugins and switching to the default WordPress “Twenty Twenty-Four” theme to see if the issue is caused by a third-party theme/plugin conflict?

If the steps above do not help, please get in touch with their support, so they could help you to resolve the issue. Thank you

    Hey there!

It looks like the trouble with your forms not showing up could have something to do with the latest update to Ninja Forms, especially around the “Date/Time” field.

Let’s try a few quick steps to get this sorted:

    1. First up, let’s make sure your Ninja Forms plugin is up-to-date. Sometimes, we roll out minor fixes right after a big update.
    2. Try turning off other plugins for a moment and switch to one of the basic WordPress themes. It’s a quick way to check if something else is stepping on Ninja Forms’ toes.
    3. Give the Ninja Forms Team a Shoutout. We’re great at diving into these things, so I’d recommend shooting us a message with what you’ve found and any error messages that pop up.

We’re super helpful and will guide you through what to do next. Plus, your feedback could help squash a bug, making you a bit of a hero!

Hi, I haven’t (yet) had chance to try the suggested testing… The site is a “live” business site and switching the theme and turning off all other plugins is tricky on a “live” site. I’m not personally the site’s main actual *Admin* so the ability to create a clone for testing isn’t something I can personally do either.

Another thing I’ve now noticed too, seems to be involving adding ReCaptcha to some of the forms. Those using the ReCaptcha V3 Action seem to be constantly giving a “ReCAPTCHA validation failed. Please try again later” message. I don’t know if the two are related?

First, create a staging site following the steps outlined in the article below. Then proceed with troubleshooting.

If you are using a caching plugin, exclude the reCaptcha JS file or temporarily disable the plugin to verify if the caching plugin is causing issues with the captcha validation. Thank you.
