    Hi,

I set limits to the date picker:
    Date of arrival (first calendar):

    Departure date (second calendar):

    Expected:

Date of arrival: Shows dates from today and in the future – OK

Date of departure: Shows dates from the date of arrival + 1 day forward

    Result:

    Date of arrival – perfect
Date of departure – sometimes does show and sometimes does not show dates from the date of arrival plus 1 day.
left worked – right did not

Can you let me know why this is happening? I also tried outside the popup and the result is the same – it seems it takes a long time until it takes the date of arrival date and compares it to the departure date and blocks previous dates.. but should not happen..

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

    Sven

You can also go to the bottom of the same page and try the behavior in the form at the bottom of the page which is not inside a lightbox. So you see the problem is not the lightbox.

I also deactivated all the plugins… same result in both the lightbox and bottom form…

    Hi @mediafishcanarias

    I hope you’re well today!

The issue here is related to the fact that it’s the very same form used twice on the page. Apparently these limits if set dynamically based on the form field gets messed up due ot the fact that arrival date is set in one copy of the form and not in the other at the same time.

I’m afraid there is no workaround for this currently other than using just one instance of that form on the same page.

I have reported it also to our Forminator Team for developers to investigate and fix in one of future releases.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi,

I added a duplicate form on the page so I have two forms one is for mobile the other for desktop view but with different ID’s:

    [forminator_form id=”2686″]
    [forminator_form id=”1838″]

Also one form I called it Date of Arrival and Date of Departure on the second form Arrival and Departure.

And the same happens again – so it is not due to 2 same forms it is due to 2 forms no matter if they have the same or different ID’s or names in the fields- which should not happen – or what do you think?

    Thanks

The issue seems more specific with how the same date picker fields are used in different forms.

However, I’m double checking this with our team regarding the issues noticed and will get back once I get further updates.

I could notice at the moment when I checked your website it appears to work fine, I suppose you have removed the 2nd form from the page to get it working?

    Hi @

However, I’m double checking this with our team regarding the issues noticed and will get back once I get further updates.

It appears the issue is more specific as stated above ie when date fields with a similar setting are used in multiple forms on the same page.

Does it work fine if you try to test it out if the Date picker field is removed from the 2nd form?

I can confirm the issue has already escalated to our Forminator teams so that it can be resolved asap in a future update.

    Best Regards,

I took the second datepicker out but added them again – as we must have one for mobile and one for desktop view – both are in a different place of the layout… the thing is it does work sometimes roughly about 5 % and the other 95 % it does not work.

It would be really appreciated if it would work – at least when each of them has a different id.

    Thanks

    Hi @mediafishcanarias,

I do understand you, however, I’m afraid as stated the issue noticed is more of a bug and hence such behaviour, so what could be controlled is a bit limited.

We have already raised this to our Forminator team so that this could be addressed asap.

Sorry for any inconvenience due to this.

    Kind Regards,
