Datepicker not working on homepage

  • hi i just configured vikbooking plugin and when i install the widget search form and include on the homepage it does’nt work like when i click on dates its not showing calendar rather i need to refresh the page to get the calendar option please help what could be the reason

    Hi,

    VikBooking uses the jQuery UI Datepicker calendars that ship natively with WordPress. If the datepicker calendars are not being displayed on your website upon focusing the apposite trigger field, then the issue may be caused by some CSS or JavaScript conflicts with your Theme or with some third-party plugins.

    If things work fine by refreshing the page, then it may be possible that some plugins or your Theme settings are erroneously loading the WordPress native assets for the jQuery UI Datepicker library through a lazy-loading technique. In this case, any compression/minifier tool for your assets should either be disabled or configured differently.

    Lastly, we suggest using the browser inspector tool to make sure there no are JavaScript errors caused by your Theme or by some third-party plugins.
