The update 5.16.2 also broke the datepicker I use with another plugin (Participants Database), the update 5.16.2.1 did not fix the issue.

  • Same issue and I confirmed it by just now updating to 5.16.2.1 from 5.16.1.1 on a local dev install. Was driving me nuts since I updated the plugin on the production site first since it was just a “fix”. Datepicker field in ACF Pro stopped displaying the dropdown and would not save a manually entered date in the text field.

I verified all was working on the dev site BEFORE I updated. After updating I tested the datepicker fields and confirmed they had stopped working. There are no errors in the developer console even though this is obviously a JS conflict.

    Hello,

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. And I am sorry that you are still experiencing this issue. I will let our team know that the latest update to this plugin did not fix the issue for your site. I will get back to you as soon as I hear something.

If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Thank yous so much,
    Chad

It’s a members-only site, with just a small part that is accessible to the general public.
I don’t think this will help you, but the link is https://www.waternatuurlijk.nl/leden

Hi @marionfw & @mantoniosaa, we were not able to replicate the issue here. Also tried using the Participants Database plugin as mentioned and was not able to replicate it.

It would help us if you could share the steps on how to replicate the issue. This is for us to confirm the bug and create a fix for it moving forward.

Again, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Looking forward to helping you guys out with this one.

    Best,

Hi, thanks a lot for reaching out and taking this issue seriously.

When in PDB, there should be a popup for the datepicker. After the last two updates for The Events Calendar, this popup does not show any more.

I still can add dates manually, but when doing so, I have to use the American way: month-day-year (either with / or -) to ensure that the date in the record and lists are shown the European way: day-month-year.

Deactivating The Events Calendar solves the problem: the popup does show up again, and I can add the dates from the datepicker.

I do hope this helps to find a way to solve the problem.

    Hi,

I am experiencing this same issue but in my case the conflict is with the Gravity Forms plugin. And in my case too, deactivating The Events Calendar also solves the problem.

To replicate go to: Forms > Import/export > select a form > scroll to the bottom to Select Date Range
Here the datepicker is not displayed so I have to enter dates with american format as marionfw mentioned before.

    Thanks!

Hi @surfingwp & @marionfw, thank you guys for sharing this information with us. I’d share this with the team and check with them in regard to this issue.

I would recommend reverting to the last working version as a workaround.

I would get back to you when I know more. Have a great day and appreciate your patience here.

    Best,
    Abz

Sorry for the delay. I made a screencast showing the process of using the datepicker with v5.16.1.1 and updating to v5.16.2.1. The screencast is showing a local install cloned from the live website running all the same plugins and versions.

Hi @mantoniosaa, appreciate you providing more information here. We already created an internal bug ticket for this, and I have added your case to it. Thanks for all the details, I will definitely pass it along to our devs.

I am unable to provide an exact date or time estimate for when this bug will be fixed, but you’ll be notified when there are any updates.

As a workaround please revert to the last working version of the plugin.

Appreciate your patience, and we’re looking forward to helping you solve this. If you do have other concerns or issues you need help with, please create another ticket, as it helps us track different issues.

Again, thank you for your patience. Have a great day.

    Cheers,
    Abz
