    Hi,

    thanks for the post!

    TablePress doesn’t make any difference in the content of the table, everything is treated as text. The only difference is made in the frontend sorting, by the DataTables JS library. Dates in that are no problem. By default, the English format mm/dd/yyyy is supported. The more European format dd.mm.yyyy can be added with the Sorting Plugins Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-sorting-plugins/

    Quick question on top of this thread…

    I want to enter the dates as mm/dd with no year. Will that be recognized as a valid date? And if so, will it get sorted appropriately?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

    This will probably not be recognized as a date, but that shouldn’t matter in this case. Sorting this data type as a string should result in the same/correct result.
