Please remove this shortcode and insert new one. This shortcode is showing only availability calendar, without the booking form. That’s why there is no need to select the date(s).

Instead of that shortcode, you need to use this shortcode:
[booking nummonths=2]
this shortcode will show the booking form with calendar, and you will be able to select the date(s) in calendar.

Oh yes i see. Bizarre that the default Insert did the calendar that doesn’t allow booking though – I don’t know quite how it did that.

I’m using [booking type=1 form_type=’standard’ nummonths=6 options='{calendar months_num_in_row=2}’] but for some reason, the visitor cannot select any date further than one month from “today”. I’m sure I did something wrong, but cannot quite figure out what ??

Maybe in the post or page, you have inserted also the shortcode for “availability calendar”, like this:
[bookingcalendar type=1 ]
If you have this shortcode, please remove it. Or in case, if you have the “availability calendar widget from Booking Calendar plugin”, also please remove it.

The shortcode for booking form already include the calendar itself.
Also please replace the shortcode for booking form, its contain some small issues with quote symbols. Please use this one:
[booking type=1 nummonths=6 options='{calendar months_num_in_row=2}']

Note! Please be careful in configuration of Booking Calendar shortcode with quote symbols. Do not use non standard opening or closing quot symbols. Only standard like: ‘ The best way to type them from keyboard, and not copy/paste.

Otherwise, please send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
