    Hi,

I have just installed wpForo into my site and made it live. Posting a message just now I see that it comes up that it was posted 13 hours ago.

The site is in New Zealand (+13 GMT) and the WP is set to NZ tine.

I then posted a page to see if the date issue was with WP or the forums and the post gives the time that it is currently here, which leads me to beleive that the date issue is with wpForo.

    How can I fix this?

    thank you for your time

    Hi @ahau,
Please note, wpForo is a user oriented platform. This is a community and each user should have option to change own timezone. This is not a blog and the timezone is not controlled only by admin. You should navigate to My Profile > Account page and set your timezone, it doesn’t matter what’s the website timezone, wpForo displays times for current user based on current user timezone. By default it’s 0 UTC.

    Thank you for the reply.

In my Profile I also have it set to the same timesone as WP – Pacific/Auckland which is +13 UTC

I am now thinking that if it is telling me that the posts that I do were posted 13 hour ago then it is not adding the +13 to the default setting of wpForo.

How can I fix that ??

Hm it seems to only be wrong on the widgets.

The date on the Post – topic pages give the correct date and time, but it is the Recent Post and Recent Topics widgets that will say posted 13 hours ago … as soon as I do a new post.
