Date/Time incorrect

    The UTC time listed in my WP installation is not correct. In fact, it is now off by 5:28. The server administrator says that the server time is correct, so I’m not sure how WP is getting the wrong time.

    Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but since I have several posts that are published at set times throughout the day, it’s rather important that they happen when they should.

    It is more likely the server time is off rather that WP UTC which gets it from the host (AFAIK) but you can check your db posts/post-time-gmt. It should show all 0’s.

    You did adjust time under admin/options for the time zone you need?

    I’ll have the server guy check the db setting. I don’t have access myself. I can make adjustments to the time zone under the WP admin panel, but this happened randomly, long after the time zone was set.

    Thanks – the server guy was looking at the wrong server, and in fact it is the server time that is off. He’s sent in a ticket to the ISP.
