I am experiencing an issue with my ‘X-day streak’ statistics. I had maintained a streak of approximately 560 days on my website, sharing posts every day. However, this statistic was automatically reset 4 or 5 days ago, presumably due to my WordPress reinstallation. It’s worth noting that I reinstalled WordPress on the same day and promptly reinstalled Jetpack before sharing the new post. Today, I received a notification from the Jetpack app stating “You’re on a 4-day streak on WABetaInfo”.

The perplexing part is that I have been consistently publishing posts for over 560 days without any breaks. Furthermore, I observed an anomaly in the ‘PUBLISHED POSTS’ section of my Jetpack app, where a post I published 2 days ago is inexplicably listed as having been posted yesterday.

    Hi @wabetainfo,

I truly recognize and appreciate the dedication and effort you’ve put into maintaining a consistent “X-day streak” for such a lengthy period. It’s not just a number, but a testament to your commitment. It must be quite disheartening to see it reset.

From our records, we noted that Jetpack was disconnected, indeed, on 10 Oct 2023, which seems to have influenced the reset of your streak stats. I’m actively engaging with our team to delve deeper into this situation and determine if such behavior is expected. Rest assured, I will keep you updated as soon as I gather more insights.

    Stay tuned!

    Hi @wabetainfo,

It’s me again. After diving into the issue, our team affirmed that even with the Jetpack reinstallation/reconnecting, your impressive 560-day streak should not have been disrupted. I’m thrilled to share that we’ve made corrections on our end, and your streak is now rightfully restored! ??

Thank you for your dedication and continuous updates. Keep shining and sharing those posts!

    Cheers! ??

    Hi @alinclamba,
Thank you so much for your interest in assisting me. I can confirm that the issue is fixed and I have now 579-day streak. I’d like to provide you with more information about what might have caused the problem, in the hope that it could be of help in similar situations in the future. Even after reinstalling WordPress, I continued to encounter some errors related to the reported issue: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/unable-to-use-jetpack-outbound-http-and-wpcom-connection-test

The outbound http issue was fixed after some time when adding some configuration in the wp-config file, but it’s possible that I shared a new post while the issue was ongoing and this may have caused the reset.

    Thank you again!
