When adding a new event to our event calendar on my website for 25 September 2022, it shows on the website as 24 September. When adding an event for the 26th it shows on the 26th as it should.
My time zone is Auckland in New Zealand (September 25th 3am is Daylight Saving Time for Auckland).
I tried to fix this with the support team from plugin I use, but they say it’s a WordPress issue.

    Hi @turnercentre,

To confirm, is your WordPress timezone setting under Dashboard > Settings > General > Timezone is set to Auckland?

It could be that your timezone settings for the plugin need to be tweaked. Please head to Events > Settings > General > Time Zone Settings and let me know if switching the Time Zone Mode helps.

    Thank you,
    Erica

    Hi Erica,

    Thanks for your reply.

My timezone was set to +12, but I changed it to “Auckland” now.

I use the Modern Event Calendar Lite from Webnus (not The Events Calendar).

    I found this page: https://webnus.net/dox/modern-events-calendar/general-options/
“Please note: in order to prevent local time and daylight saving issues make sure to set your timezone with the city name. The name of your city or a city that is in the same time zone as your city.”

I have changed my timezone to the city, emptied my cache, but the issue still persists.
Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks!

Hi @turnercentre, appreciate you providing more information here. It seems that you’re using another plugin → https://webnus.net/dox/modern-events-calendar/.

I’d recommend you reach out to the Webnus team, the developers of Modern Events Calendar. Could you double-check the default WP Timezone option under Settings → General → Timezone was set properly? Worth checking, and see if that makes a difference.

No worries, please do not hesitate to contact us again if you do have questions about our products.

    Have a great day.

    Best,
