Days in the past grey color

Hi, I am using the free version and I would like to make yesterday and earlier a cell with a grey background so the visitor can see these days are in the past. I can style the changeover day, active day, free day and booked day but not the days in the past. For that I need to have another class assigned to the table td.

Is there a way to do so? If so, how exactly?

Second question: is there also a way to change the location of the next and previous month? It’s now at the bottom of the calendar and I would like to place it at the right side at the same height as the days row or in the thead section. I can hook it into the template of the plugin but not without losing my changes on an update.
