Dazzling theme results in Fatal Error

  • There has been a forum posted about his but I have not been able to receive any help and my website is useless until I can figure something out.

    I used dazzling theme and from the looks of it the previous version had an error that resulted in “Fatal error: Call to undefined function of_get_option() in /home1/jschneider33/public_html/wp-content/themes/dazzling/inc/extras.php on line 121” and refuses to let me access any page on my site.

    The updated version has been released but I have no way (that I’m aware of) that I can install and update the site because I can’t access the wp-admin page. Where do I have to go where I can do this?

    I apologize I’m just getting into the whole website thing and I’m not very good at this, but thank you!

  • You have a few options.

    First you can try using the url <<yourdomain>>/wp-login.php to see if it will let you into the admin area.

    Second you can download the update and ftp into your site rename the old theme which is found in the wp-content/theme folder and upload the new theme in it’s place.
