In the Database Security settings, under the DB Backup tab, clicking on “Create DB Backup Now” returns a normal looking page except that there is nothing shows after the DB Backup tab, not even the standard, “Thank you for creating with WordPress!” message. Error logs show nothing either.

I have it working on other installations. I’ve granted write permission to the plugin’s backups and logs directories. The file permissions on the installation that isn’t working is the same as the installations that are.

    Hi,
Have you checked that you have a “backups” directory in the root folder of this plugin? If so what are the permissions of this directory? (ie, they should be 755).

We’ve also just identified a small bug with the backup functionality and have added a fix which will be included in the next release of this plugin.

It was 755. I tried other combinations too. I will wait for the new release. I can do manual backup on my server until then. Thanks.

A quick follow-up. I figured out that since I have a network aka multisite installation, that there are more directories under the backups directory that need attention as far as file permissions are concerned. Fixed the file permissions and ownership issues and it works now.

Thought I’d add that here in case anyone else might need the info.

Thanks again for the great plugin.
