DB issues when tracking views?

    On our site, we have only limited database resources. It happens quite regularly that the max_connections limit is reached.

    On our side we’re planning a hardware upgrade which definitely should ease the situation.

    How does Advanced Ads handle this situation? Does every view lead to a DB write access? Are there alternative mechanisms to avoid the max_connections issue?

    Based on the tracking method of your choice, every ad impression and click can be a write action to the database. To avoid this and save resources on your server, I can recommend switching to Google Analytics tracking.
