• Hello, I am having an issue where my server space is very large and when i do a resource check I find deep in a folder a file labeled “dbcache.log” that is taking up 6.5GB of space on my server. Viewing the file I see it is from your plugin. What can I do to remove this large file? I tried flushing database cache, all cache for that matter. But it is still there and very large?

Can I just delete this file or will it screw things up? It is ridiculous that it would take up 6 GB of space!!

Hello, it is concerning to see the lack of responses in your support forum. Will an admin at least acknowledge they read this and maybe let me know why this file is so huge and if I can remove/empty the file?

    Hi @card-one-concepts,
Got the same problem and I used the cPanel file manager to delete dbcache.log. It didn’t break anything. W3TC recreates the LOG-file and continues to fill it endlessly. In the same folder, I found two more files, cdn.log and minify.log. You might find them too. Deleting them didn’t cause any damage either.
This is a real issue and I plan to get rid of W3TC asap.

I had the same problem and found this post that explained what to do to fix it.

Essentially you need to disable debugging and then delete the files.

    Hope you come right.

    Cheers,

    Rob
