DDoS protection is activated for your IP

    Yesterday when I logged into CleanTalk a page flashed by prior to getting to your site which said the following:

    “DDoS protection is activated for your IP [IP # ]
    Please click bellow to pass protection,
    https://cleantalk.org/
    Or you will be automatically redirected to the requested page after 3 seconds”

    Is this suppose to be happening and what is it about? It flashed by so quickly, I was lucky to get a screen shot of it.

    Thank you for your request.

    We were attacked by spammers and the page with “click below to bypass…” is a counter-measure to the attack. Everything works as it should now, but we are keeping these pages for another month for security sake.

    Real visitors like you are always able to see our pages while automatic spambots will not bypass these blocking screens.
