de_DE to de_AT

    ok, i admint this is a bit of a strange one.
    however, i find myself in the situation where i need to use the wpml and woocommerec plugin with 3 languages as follows:
    en->english
    de->german
    at->austrian (which is in fact german, but the austrian pages need some text customizations for Austria so i need to “translate” these into austrian)

    as i will now have three languages but do not need an austrian translation for the woocommerce shop. therefore, is it possible to use woocommerce-de for the austrian german (like copy th ewhole plugin as woocommerce-at for example and edit a couple of things as required without rewriting the whole thing ?

    what would be the easiest way to go about this ?

    actually i just figured it out.
    in wpml go to languages, set code to “at” and keep default locale at de_DE

    seem to work a charm

    as far as i’m concernend this is resolved…..
