Deactivate all widgets on theme activation

  • Hi,
    I’m trying to find a way to deactivate all widgets when I activate my theme. Not unregister widgets – that removes them from widget pages completely … Just make them inactive.
    So. like, now I do fresh WP install, install my theme, and when I activate theme, default widgets populate my theme sidebar and decompose theme. Of course, I can deactivate widgets “manually” but I would like it to be “automatically” …

    Any thoughts ?
