deactivate and delete

  • Would you please tell me how I can deactivate and delete Elementor? My plugins page is getting crowded, and clicking on those words don’t work. Thank you.

  • Before resetting database, install the https://nl.www.ads-software.com/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/ plugin and take a backup. The instructions on how to use it are on the plugins page.

    It is always good practice to take backups and save them on your computer, in case something goes wrong, you can always fall back to a backup and do not lose all your hard work.

    Do I need Ocean Extra to remove the search form? In customizer, the only thing I could finds was how to disable the Search Icon Style, not the search form. I used Appearance > Customize > Header > Menu > Search Icon Style.

    Oh, sorry, you are talking about the form widget. No, that you can remove by going to Appearance:widgets and disable/remove the search widget from sidebar.

    Not sure how your settings are for your homepage, I think it is showing the blog archive.

    That said, I advise you to ask these question in the appropriate forum or Facebook groups. We are now in the Elementor forum.

    I think you should start by watching tutorials about WordPress and where to find what etc. That will help you a lot!
