Deactivate Gutenberg?

  • Got this message on my dashboard from Kadenca: “Gutenberg Plugin Detected
    The Gutenberg plugin is not recommended for use in a production site. Many things may be broken by using this plugin. Please deactivate”
    I have used Gutenberg building my site.
    Is there any specific issue you can expect with using Gutenberg on my WordPress.com site along with the theme ?

    Hey,
    The Gutenberg editor is now the default WordPress editor so you actually don’t need it in order to work in Gutenberg. So you can deactivate it:)

    I am planning to use Kadence Blocks for Gutenberg, will this be able to use if I deactivate Gutenberg?

    Yes! As I said above, you do not need the Gutenberg plugin to work in the Gutenberg editor.
