Deactivate plugin and keep SSL

Hi there,
just out of curiousity: its possible to deactivate the plugin and keep the site/all images etc HTTPS instead of going back to HTTP correct?

Hi,
deactivating the plugin will also disable the mixed content fixer. This will prevent the plugin from rewriting https:// to https:// on resources. Therefore it’s possible that resources won’t use https:// anymore. See https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/can-deactivate-really-simple-ssl-activating-ssl/
You could use the ‘Deactivate and keep SSL’ option in the plugin settings and then manually replace https://yourdomain.com to https://yourdomain.com in the database using a tool like Better Search Replace
