    Hi,

When I attempt to Deactivate Plugin it is not working or (failing).

It says it “Plugin deactivated.” yet it is not the case and still shows in my Tools >>> WP Reset.

    Plugin version: Version 1.77

I prefer to have plugins I am not actively using deactivated so no one else messes with them.

If you can please help that would be great.

    Thanks,
    Obie

    Hi Obie,
Sorry to hear you’re having problems.

So when you go to plugins, WP Reset shows as being installed but not active? But when you go to Tools you can click on WP Reset menu item and use the plugin?

No it shows as “Active in plug in list and when I click “Deactivate it will not turn off. It just stays active status even though it says “Plugin Deactivated”.

And WPR is the only plugin on that site that can’t be deactivated? Others are behaving as expected?

    (@obiebrown)

Yes correct. This is only plugin I can not turn off / deactivate.

Since WPR is shown as non-active in the plugins list, I assume you have the delete button then? Can you please try deleting WPR and see what happens.

    Will that delete my settings?
As I will want to use Plugin later.

WPR doesn’t have any settings, so not much to lose there. But you WILL lose all snapshots if you have any.
