    Hi guys!

Before summer when I disabled this plugin, I had no problem with the information, because it remained. In fact, I’m with a website that combines image widgets from the old version (which maintained info when disabling plugin), and is combined with modern editor modules (widgets), which do not retain info when I deactivate the plugin.

This causes, obligatorily pass through each page to revert editing, or at worst have to layout again, in case you want to use the plugin in the future.

Is this behavior normal? Can not correct to versions that allowed to keep info even if you deactivate plugin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Joan

This change wasn’t made knowingly. I ran a test now and see what you’ve described. It doesn’t equally apply to all widgets. Unfortunately, yes, for most widgets to display correctly the plugin should be left activated. At the moment there isn’t enough demand for the plugin to be deactivated for us to dedicate resources to changing this behaviour. Sorry I don’t have better news.

    Hi Andrew!

Ok no problem. It’s been proven a while ago and I found it curious.

Normally I always advise only to layout the pages (because they are smaller than post). The only solution is ‘revert to editor’ on each page.

And I want to share another curiosity to know about it, ‘revert to editor’ returns you to the native WordPress editor and when we go back to the ‘Page Builder’ tab (without saving) the layout disappears. Ok, I knew this about Page Builder by SiteOrigin. But … for example the page builder Unyson (framework that does not have its own theme but works with third-party theme), I do the same process as in SiteOrigin, and it recovers the layout again. It is a thing that you can observe when you want, although without demand it is unnecessary to improve, I suppose.

    Greetings! ??

Thanks for raising this. I’ll log the report in a moment. It’ll be a priority issue. Page Builder should be hanging onto the layout after reverting and then going back again.
