Deactivate Smush.it when not in use.

  • This plugin is great EXCEPT it caused a long delay (10+ seconds) when loading 2 of our websites. We now deactivate Smush.it except when adding images. If we miss some images we temporarily activate Smush.it and do a bulk smush.

  • Hi @dave, it’s awesome to hear you were able to use it with that workaround, though strange that it had that delay. Was that maybe just when auto-smushing new images?
